Review 8/12/2010
Ripped me of immensely for my dog to be spayed. Charged me for everything as an individual (Antibiotic injection, hospitalization, pain injection, sedative, anesthetic monitoring, and a heartworm test) as well as the surgery itself being $200. In reality, all of these things are most often included in the total cost. The grand total was over $1000. I have NEVER heard of any other clinic/veterinarian charging anything over $400 or so for this surgical procedure. I was extremely upset and mad that my dog did not have an IV catheter in place which is VERY important for surgical patients. This is the way the patient receives fluids, and in case emergency drugs are needed, there would be IV access. When I called and left a message asking if I could have both of my dogs' medical records, I never got a call back. Later that year, I got a vaccine reminder in the mail saying to 'please make an appointment'. I called within a few days, never got a call back. Tried several more times that month and the next month, still no call back. With the records I do have, I noticed that one of my dogs was due for a rabies vaccine (which is required by law), never got any sort of phone call or reminder call letting me know. So I obviously didn't make any appointment. If there was an option for zero stars, that would be my rating.
